Can I put forth two? Muppet’s Christmas Carol for all of Becky’s reasons. Also It’s a Wonderful Life - it makes the best case for kindness and love as the true measure of a man/life without downplaying the struggle and loss of a life sacrificed for others.

While You Were Sleeping

The best 90s rom-com Christmas movie that is always forgotten in the Christmas movie conversation. Sandra Bullock in her prime!!

Muppet Christmas Carol:

- stupendous acting

- heartfelt & a timeless message about how loving others is Christmas and vice versa

- iconic music that’s catchy

- they made a Dickens novel FUNNY without ruining the story.

Muppet Christmas Carol, for all the reasons Becky listed but i would argue that its the best rendition of the novel next to the FX series.

The Shop Around the Corner!

-Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullavan have great chemistry

-I have a soft spot for the Budapest setting since my husband's family is from Hungary

- An adorable, but not overly precocious child

- The North Pole, so magical.

- 90s co-parenting

- A believe in the magic of Christmas message

😱 as conservative “pastor’s kid” children we weren’t allowed to watch this so I’ve only seen part of it in the children’s area of a fitness center when I was like 4!

Bahahaha My mom really went to a variety of extremes on what I could and couldn’t watch. This was far more appropriate than Christmas Vacation which we watched every single year. Haha

SARAH I REMEMBER WATCHING IT AT THE GYM. hahahah I really think that's the only time I saw it, too. We must fix this!

The fact that gym was called “Foxy’s” really fits the whole early 90s vibe of this memory 🤣

Literally wrote about "Foxy's" being the name of it in my post that is scheduled for tomorrow morning and wasn't sure if I dreamed that up. DEAD.

Home alone. It’s really enjoyable for a lot of reasons. Obviously the movie doesn’t “make sense” but they did an incredible job making Kevin so relatable. So many memes about how he’s a psychopathic child. IDk maybe the insane robbers that literally will

Sacrifice their lives over and over again to rob a house are the diabolical ones 🤷🏻‍♂️

lol Justice for Kevin!! Home Alone wasn't one we watched growing up but Ben introduced it to me and it's on my rotation now. Always cry in that church scene! I love the second one, too!
