I'm late to reading...I'm a new mom, I have no me time anymore. However, this blog IS . A . PRIORITY! I too am an Arm Chair Expert Fan, an OG, lover of this show. So I wanted to suggest Episode 25 Laura Labo (Dax's mom) its such an interesting insight to his childhood but also helps you to really think about the choices your parents had to make and why. I know, for me, it led to some really interesting discussions with my mom on why she made certain choices.

As well, I picked up DUNE at the library and am frantically trying to read the first book (but I needed to catch up on this blog first) so I can watch the movie. I can't wait.

I know I read this one a few weeks late... but Armchair episodes you somehow forgot to list (and I'm sure it's hard to narrow them down, but still): (45) Experts on Expert: Yuval Noah Harari; (58) Experts on Expert: Sam Harris. I know, I was partial to Experts on Experts when it wasn't a sepearate thing.

Must. See. Dune. In. THEATERS!!!!!! Lawd, get me to the THEATER!!

That Ted Lasso Batman trailer was just about the most fabulous thing I think I've ever seen. XD XD XD The timing of every single moment was absolute PERFECTION.

Your comment about Harry Styles needing to do more arte films -- LOLOLOL, spot on!! Hahahahaaaaa. The fact he's doing a Marvel movie so early in his film career just reminds me that, oh yeah, he started out with One Direction........

And finally, confession time: I have never listened to an episode of Armchair Expert and I'm horrified!! So THANK YOU for recommending some top selections!

I saw Dune and had the same experience you did. I think it helped that I read the book a few years ago and remembered parts of it as the movie was progressing. I loved it! Even if the story is clearly unfinished.:) As for other movies that transported me in the same way, Dunkirk comes to mind. It was a true cinematic experience.
