Jason Lannister is definitely a finance bro and a #metoo in the making. BUT House Lannister is by far my favorite house, and to even lay eyes on a Lannister just made the whole series feel complete. Like ok, now we’re talking!
Oops never replied to this. The Lannisters are the most complex and interesting of the families, I think. Jaime and Tyrion alone could make up a whole episode and I would want to watch. Cersei was fascinating in her cunning attempts to hang on to power. Even Tywin was a trip (and that actor was GREAT). I dunno, I just love 'em.
Also, Ser Criston referencing his past “adventures…” IMO has a “boys will be boys” / Jeffrey Epstein private island vibe I don’t like. And I know it’s not *meant* that way, but that’s bothersome?!? Male writers have got to stop calling playboy shit “adventures.” Especially when the surrounding culture, AKA Westeros, is 100% misogynistic and generally abusive towards women. 😒
I love calling out the boys will be boys culture! I had that same reaction even though he said it so respectfully I forgave him. But I think I said something to Ben at the time like, "Rhaeny would NEVER be allowed to live that life!" Not that she wants to, but the contrast was stark. She should've grilled him on whether his "adventures" were all consensual.... yikes.
Rhaeny not killing the white stag: First, the gods gave her the white stag. Good sign for her!! Second, will this symbolize her later on down the road passing over her claim to the throne because the damn throne is a literal poison?! (Ref. Viserys’ gangrene.) I DON’T KNOW but wouldn’t that be cool and sad and cool??!
oooooooooooh, you are always so good at predicting storylines since you are such a good fiction writer yourself. I never would've even thought of her passing it over when she sees it literally killing her father. That's interesting! That would be such a cool twist compared to Daeny.
Yes, I felt the white stag was a good sign for her, but foreshadows *something* -- maybe something like that!

Laura, that's such a good point about the Lannister appearance! We were all that Leo DiCaprio pointing meme! lol
I love that House Lannister is your favorite. What is it about them?

Yet again, can’t argue with these rankings!
