The only thing I want to know is, why is every episode so dark??? I feel like I’m wandering through one of my dreams where I can’t see where I’m going or make out what anything is.
We literally could NOT see during the incest sex on the beach episode. We changed our TV settings. Apparently that was directed by the same guy who did "The Long Night" episode that we also couldn't see in Game of Thrones. (Remember how you like literally had no idea who died during that? Until the witch lady showed up with the fire?? lol good times.)
Like, hello, we aren't watching this in the movie theater, people!!!
Also, OMG, Laura I have those same dreams! Usually I also can only move very sluggishly. Horrible!
I’M LAUGHING TOO HARD AT SO MANY THINGS 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 how to name them all??!
The only thing I disagree with — maybe not practically but from my GUT — is that Rhaenys should be #1 like always and forever!!!?!?!!
Also I am 100% pro Alicent even if she is really the super evil villain. And I think she and Rhaenyra had a real remembering of their sisterhood/friendship during that toast, and it was 100% HEARTFELT.
hahahaha yessss, getting the laughs is what I live for!
OOh your take that Rhaenys should be #1 always and forever REALLY aged well, no spoilers!! I had no idea we had such a Rhaenys stan on our hands, Sarah, I love to see it!
Also I DO rely on you to support my Alicent Sympathizer stance and I am very grateful. The newest episode.....
I'm on the fence on whether Alicent meant her speech when she said it, but I do think she was sincere when she don't want Rhaenyra to go so soon / said that she and the king would like her to return (on dragon back, no less). Am I being naive?
Ooh, interesting!! I think I felt the opposite, like Alicent was touched by Rhaenyra's toast and gave a sincere toast back, but then that she maybe wasn't quite as sure about wanting Rhaenyra to stay. Alicent seems so lonely to me, though, so torn between wanting to have her friend back and not being able to forgive Rhaenyra for who Alicent feels like Rhaenyra is.

Whoof, so fascinating!
