1. Last week while we sat near the 18th green, watching the last group at the LPGA Queen City Championship, I looked at Matt and said: "I'm having a fun day with you and Jane. But, if you had asked me 11 years ago, when we got married, what our family would be doing for fun on a Sunday....this would definitely not have been on the list!". It's so strange how life takes you to places you couldn't imagine.
We need to talk about press-ons. I CANNOT function with them in terms of typing, it's like a BRAIN BLOCK, but I become the most amazing version of myself (in my head) otherwise when I wear them bahahaha.
What a perfect Sunday with your fam! I think so often about how younger me had such a death grip on where I wanted my life to go, and I wish I could tell her Honey, it's gonna end up SO different from what you think and you are going to love it.
2. There is a great little doc on Jelly Roll, I think you might fall in love with him. I know I did enough to allow his concert to be Jane's first last year. He does a lot of really great things for incarcerated youth in Nashville and communities and he tours in!
OK, I'm IN! On the Jelly Roll doc. Something about him makes me love him. Did I say in the post about his song about addiction made me like WEEP? I might've cut it because I was going way way over word count. It was "Winning Streak" that he performed on SNL and I was immediately googling him because it made me want to learn more.
My friend Melanie texted me after reading this post that I clearly don't live in the South anymore if I didn't know who Jelly Roll was 😅
3. I think my favorite showstopper was the leather bag?? I just couldn't get over how real it looked! What was yours?
Ok, do you think the "regular (hot) mom" is going to be the "failing up" female contestant this season? She definitely seems like she's not too competent but somehow squeaking by!

I've literally been saying all week that I become a different person when I'm traveling for work/have long nails hahahaha.
It's so true! My life looks so different from what I planned and thought I wanted...and that's a good thing!

Yes, so many of his songs make me cry. He's great!
For me it's a toss up between the leather bag and the duck. However I loved that you could actually pick up the books, my dream cake. Hahaha
