I'm not ashamed to admit that I am a serial intro skipper. I will really only watch intros if they change to match the episode - Fringe used to do this a lot, also I liked the theme music. Or if it's a new season with a new intro (a la Crazy Ex-Girlfriend). You're right that it can be a useful run to the bathroom or watch tiktok time but I just pause a lot instead hahah

Season 1 of Stranger Things was perfect television. I will say, now that I've finished the seventh episode (wrote this when I had one left), Season 4 is definitely my second favorite IN SPITE of being maybe the most uneven!
OMG KMAC IS AN INTRO SKIPPER!!! Honestly, bold! Iconic! Truly! Although, now you mentioned it, I definitely skipped the Severance intro -- even though it was so artistically done. It was too long and I needed to get to the PLOT.
Hands down the best never-skip intro: The Expanse!!! Utterly mood-setting. Honorable Mention: Only Murders in the Building.
Also: you win for the most engaging questions in a newsletter!! It’s always something I’ve never thought about consciously but taps into something REAL
Ooh! Ben and I still need to catch back up on The Expanse! I can't remember the intro, but that entire show is a MOOD, as they say. We watched a few episodes but didn't get enough momentum to prioritize it over other shows. People keep telling us it's worth going back!
Only Murders was SUCH a fun intro -- so stylized!

You know Succession is a no-skip! Also agree about GOT. And Veep and Curb Your Enthusiasm because they’re so short.
