Agreed on Boba! Also though my biggest complaint is everyone knows Boba is the hottest SW character ever (the SWAG) and then he's....and old guy??? Disapprove.
Wait, Shiv is going to be Anne Elliott? The character I always got on those "Which Jane Austen Character Are You?" quizzes? I don't know what's real anymore.
Thanks for everything you shared here! I had no idea they were making a Station Eleven show and I am SO EXCITED!! Also just requested Passing from the library, sounds incredible. Have you read The Personal Librarian? It's a fictionalization of the true story of a Black woman who passed as white and became J.P. Morgan's personal librarian, I loved it.
I've never heard of The Personal Librarian! I am going to check it out from the library for sure now. What a TALE.
When you finish Passing, I'd love to hear your thoughts! In my opinion, there are also some beautifully complex queer themes in the book (which they definitely emphasize in the movie). Just as fascinating as the "race question" (as the author calls it) and so much intersectionality my brain was in overdrive.
Also, I can't wait to debrief Station Eleven with you when it comes out.

YES. So basically Shiv is playing YOU. Nothing could make MORE sense, Heidi. Nothing
!
