I am going to highly suggest people read Under the Banner of Heaven. The show did a really great job, and I absolutely loved it, Andrew Garfield is fantastic! But Jon Krakauer, his writing is some of my favorite. I just reread Under the Banner of Heaven (read it for the first time as a senior in high school and was interested in getting my adult perspective), and it holds up!
YES!! Great call-out. The book also has a TON of the things that ended up in the Netflix doc about Warren Jeffs. Like, the book has sooooo much more. And I haven't even finished it! Glad you reminded me.
