Ok, so first of all, the hubs and I have been using this line to explain to people why we didn't love the first couple episodes of Ted Lasso: "it feels like they’re trying to 'do Ted Lasso' but recycled." But I think I'm liking it more with each episode. But also, I feel bad for them because I'm not sure it can EVER be as good as season 1!!!
Secondly, I almost barfed at the football-sized goldfish. Why do they seem so much more horrifying like that?!
Rumpelstiltskin. LOLOLOLOL
I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT DUNE. I don't usually care that much for sci-fi, but GOOD GOLLY!!!
And finally, because I can't post on every single thing (I mean, I COULD, but I should probably get back to work) ... this is the only pleasure-reading I will ever need. THANK YOU for this!!!!!!
hahahahaha YES!!!! My only goal with this newsletter is to have something I say enter into someone else's conversations (wow, what an ego trip this is) so I am beyond flattered you're saying that about Ted Lasso also that you agree with me! lol. I am enjoying the show a lot more now, I think since readjusting my expectations. Laura said she hated the Christmas episode and I was like "I thought it was DARLING!!!!!!"
Isn't it so freaky with the goldfish? And your comment is coming from someone whose favorite movie in high school was Big Fish!
I love your comments! You are the audience I always have in mind!
Going back to my business praying that the Delta Variant doesn't make Dune get postponed even more.
Hannah, I'm an ISFP, so the things I like about your posts are probably going to disappoint! I love the way you use italics and [these things]. I'm so glad I got to see lessdogs reacting to Simone, yes for the message but mostly for the laughs. And those five wedding dresses! I was gripped! The listing of the Gucci movie pros, yes! I can't wait for next week.
I love hearing your feedback on the look/aesthetic decisions! I really went back and forth on the italics and brackets but decided they set parentheticals apart better visually and also kind of give it the slightly hysterical tone that I always have in my head.
