I love the tv preview - making plans to smash many of these picks!! And as a current Houston resident who’s lived here most of my adult life, I accept our reputation for smog and strip malls, but am hopeful that the current season of Top Chef (which was filmed here!) is helping dispel any ideas that the strip malls aren’t filled with delicious global food choices!! (We’re the most diverse city in America, and of course the home of Beyoncé and Meg…and I guess now this pecan pie. People gift each other Goode Company BBQ pecan pies for Christmas, but otherwise I think pecan pie is more generally Texan/southern!)

-Life and Beth -- I loved the pilot, especially the final scene, but then got bored halfway through the second episode and haven't picked it back up! But maybe I will...
-The Bubble. Apparently it is UNwatchable.
