Ok, I cannot STAN the Courtship show thingum but I’m still your biggest fan. But you will also have to explain why da h*ck you are now love-watching The Gilded Age and if I should actually invest???!?!?

And also I am running to watch Flee, and did you say it’s on Hulu??!

Yes! Flee is on Hulu!

Also, uhm, The Gilded age is not good TV but it's entertaining and fun! I think it's the gorgeous clothing and sets plus the silliness -- it seems to take itself so seriously but also kind of doesn't, which makes it fun. A few characters really carry the whole thing.

That's the best I can come up with, but it's like I know it's not well-written and yet I am not hate-watching at all! The finale is this Monday, though, so we'll see how poorly it holds up. They literally introduced like four new plot lines in the last episode hahahaaa

I cannot BELIEVE you saw the Music Man already! I have tickets for August. I say that the whole point is that Harold Hill can’t sing. He just has to be charismatic, which Hugh Jackman is, no?

We went for rush tickets! And by "we" I mean that Laura Hutton arrived at 8am on a Sunday for a box office opening at 12 noon, and I showed up at 10:30 with coffee and breakfast.

Good point about Harold Hill! Yeah, it really didn't affect my enjoyment that Hugh can't sing, because he's absolutely a charm on stage, as always. It was a little odd, Laura pointed out that they seemed to slow down Hugh's songs and speed up Sutton's songs, which is kind of the opposite of the mood. Not sure what that was about, but still. TWO LEGENDS ON STAGE!!!!

I've also made the shift from hate-watching to love-watching The Gilded Age. It snuck up on me, but now I can't wait to see what Bertha does next! She is weirdly mesmerizing.

SAME! Carrie Coon is so fantastic, mesmerizing is the right word. My obsession with her and Mr. Russell is why I kept watching (oh and Aunt Agnes), and now I like... care... about.... OTHER... CHARACTERS, TOO!??!?! What is happening.
