You helped me appreciate the grown Rhaenyra more. I wasn’t a huge fan at first. I missed the old one. But the way you put it, her growing understanding of the stakes because she’s a mother now…. GOOD STUFF!!
I DEFINITELY missed the old Rhaenyra in that first episode, but in the next one, she won me over all the way. I feel like she's mellowed out a bit with age (just watching more and not yelling as much, not necessarily her inner person, which is like let's burn it all to the ground), whereas Alicent has gotten more fiery.
Oh, one more thing: I’m so glad you pointed out that first scene was all one shot!! It hadn’t occurred to me, and it’s sooooo well done! What an amazing way for them to bring us up to date on the castle dynamics!!!
